Lithuanian Law Institute together with its partners in 2016 fall - 2017 conducted a project to introduce students to the activities of the European Parliament (EP) in the spring. The main objective of the project was to stimulate interest in the activities of the European Parliament and improve students' legal knowledge of the role and functions of this institution. The project was implemented using active and engaging teaching methods tailored to the age, knowledge level, needs and interests of students.

Project training and workshop topics were selected based on the school's course, the interests of the students, and so that further knowledge of the governance structures of the European Union could be further developed. During the meetings, the pupils were present with three main themes: the competences and political groups of the European Parliament, European values and identity, and the work of the European Parliament in safeguarding human rights.

At the end of the project, a knowledge contest was organized, the winners went Brussels to meet with MEPs and be acquainted with the activities of the European Parliament in close proximity.

The aim of project was to make pupils aware of the importance of the European Union in the project and to encourage them to show interest in improving their knowledge of the European Parliament, an institution that represents them as EU citizens.

The European Union-funded project started in 2016 October and took place in 2017 the end of the April.
