Dr Raimonda Bublien\u0117 is one of the first in Lithuania to examine the topic of multiple discrimination in depth. First of all, it should be mentioned that she defended the thesis \u201cMultiple Discrimination in the Context of European Union Anti-Discrimination Law\u201d (2022), second the results of her research on this topic were published in 2 publications (2019 and 2023), one of which was in a journal with high impact factor, and in a presentation at an international conference (2017).<\/p>

Now R. Bublien\u0117 is an associate professor and Head Department of Law at VILNIUS TECH – a prestigious European technical university, important for the progress and development of the Lithuanian State. 19 years her teaching experience broadened areas of research interest, so currently Dr Raimonda Bublien\u0117 brings a multidisciplinary expertise in law, management, technologies, and the economy.<\/p>

Overall Dr Bublien\u0117 has published over 20 scientific papers in national and international journals, 2 textbooks and made 5 presentations at international conferences and also took part over 25 internships and Erasmus+ visits in Belgium, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Morocco, Egypt. During the Erasmus+ teaching mobility she presents the anti-discrimination and equal opportunities topics for the students and academic staff.<\/p>

Her interest in the Anti-Discrimination and Gender Equality is palpable. During the recent years (from 2017) twice per year Dr Raimonda Bublien\u0117 participates at the Academy of European Law (Tier, Germany) organized several day seminars on these topics, it provides new insights into research work and possibility to share knowledge and competencies with colleagues at the Department of Law. She participated twice into research internships (2016-2017, 2018) funded with the project HORIZON 2020 (Marie Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) Cluster Development Med (CLUSDEV MED) MSCA-RISE-2014 no: 645730, at the Academy of Research and Technology (Cairo, Egypt).<\/p>

Bublien\u0117 belongs to the organising committee of International Scientific Conference \u201cBusiness and Management\u201d (VILNIUS TECH) and she is a Chairperson for the conference section of Legal Business Environment, together with the colleagues\u2019 reviews and publishes publications. Conferences publications 2017 and 2022 included into Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) of the Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) database. From 2023 September she was promoted as the Head of Law Department.<\/p>

The researcher is actively involved in various Erasmus+ and ATHENA (Advanced Technology Higher Education Network Alliance is a federation of mid-size higher education institutions in nine European countries) projects activities. She is involved in a various Erasmus+ and EU projects preparations stages and actively participate as a host for Erasmus+ incoming students and professors. She was invited as the speaker and delivered presentations at 2nd ATHENA International Week May 15-19, 2023 (Chania, Crete) and the first ATHENA Technology Forum September 25-29, 2023 of (Sitia, Crete). Bublien\u0117 has also received funding from the Research Council of Lithuania for the results achieved during her doctoral studies.<\/p>
