How to ensure its justness? What are the experiences of women who face punishment? These and other questions will be addressed at the upcoming international online conference.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Research Council of Lithuania co-funded Project \u201cDefeminised criminal justice: female offenders\u2019 penalties and their experience of punishment\u201d (Femijust) partner team consisting of Law Institute of the Lithuanian Center for Social Sciences, University of Cambridge Institute of Criminology and Vytautas Magnus University kindly invites you to attend the international conference \u201eA just punishment for women? Punitive practices and female offenders\u2018 experiences\u201c, taking place on the 23th of June 2021. The conference will be held remotely through an interactive online platform.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference will discuss the issue of fair punishment for women, analyse trends in the interpretation of women&#8217;s criminal behaviour and the composition of criminal activity, as well as delve into the applicable punishment mechanisms and practices.
