The conference focuses on current trends in criminal policy as reflected in European Union law, the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, innovative criminal policy decisions in European countries and the latest scientific debates. The growing interaction between the legal systems of the Union and the Member States and the need for effective cooperation between them provide a good opportunity for an academic-practical debate highlighting current trends in European criminal policy.
